SoKal Support
Need a hand? Email us at team@sokal.app. A person reads every message and we reply as soon as we can.
To help us find your account quickly, tell us the email address or phone number you sign in with and what you were trying to do. Please never send a password or a sign-in code.
I can't sign in
- On the web, sign in with your phone number (we text you a code) or with Google. If your account only uses Sign in with Apple or an email and password, sign in from the SoKal app instead.
- The code didn't arrive. Wait a minute and check the number is right. If you ever replied STOP to a SoKal text, codes are blocked too. Reply START to any SoKal text to turn them back on.
- Still stuck? Email us and we'll sort it out.
My calendar isn't syncing
- In the app, open your calendar settings and check the calendar still shows as connected. If it asks you to reconnect, disconnect it and connect it again.
- New events from Google Calendar or Outlook can take a few minutes to show up in SoKal.
- If an event shows up as private when you expected friends to see it, check its event type. Friends only see the types you share with them.
Claude and other AI assistants
- Claude can't see SoKal, or is missing new features. In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, choose SoKal and select Disconnect. Connect it again, then start a new chat.
- It says connecting is invite-only. We're opening assistant access to accounts a few at a time. Email us if you'd like it turned on for yours.
- It can read your calendar but can't change it. You connected with View only. Disconnect it, connect again, and choose View and edit.
- It asks which friend you meant. More than one of your friends matches that name. Pick one and it remembers for next time. To reset it, ask Claude to forget who that name means.
- A friend's plans show as "Busy". That friend doesn't share that kind of plan with you, or it came from their Google Calendar or Outlook. Claude only sees what SoKal already shows you.

Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time from your account settings, in the app or on the web. Deleting is permanent and can't be undone. If you just want a break, you can deactivate instead and come back later. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what each option removes.
Report a safety problem
You can report a person or a photo from inside the app. For anything urgent, email team@sokal.app. Our Child Safety Standards explain how we handle reports involving children.
