Share your calendar without sharing everything

Most calendar sharing is all or nothing. Someone sees your whole calendar, or they see a wall of busy. SoKal lets you choose what each person sees, one type of event at a time.

Nobody sees anything until you connect

Your calendar stays private by default. Only people you've added as connections can see any of it.

Pick what each person sees

Every event has a type: outings, travel, exercise, errands, online, and more. Outings and travel are shared by default and everything else shows as busy. Change it for anyone. Your roommate sees your errands. A coworker only sees your trips.

Hide where you are

Turn off location and friends can see you're getting coffee at 2. They won't see where. Works on any event they can see.

Your synced events sort themselves

Connect Google, Apple, or Outlook. Flights show up as travel. Dinner reservations show up as outings. Everything else stays private until you decide otherwise.

See your friends on your calendar too

Add friends to your calendar in their own color. You only ever see what they've chosen to share with you.

Common questions

Can someone I'm not connected with see my calendar?

No. Nothing is visible until you connect.

Can I share different things with different people?

Yes. Set what each person sees by type of event.

What do people see for events I don't share?

Just that you're busy. No title, no details.

Can I hide locations but still share the event?

Yes. They see the time, not the place.

Do I have to tag every event myself?

No. Synced events are sorted automatically, and the rest stay private by default.
